Annual Report (2017-18)




Ø  JPS received “Excellence in CBSE School, 2017” which was received from honorable Minister of Education, Shri Vasudev Devnani

Ø  JPS also received “Excellence in Academics (CBSE) and teaching Method” which was received from famous actress Smita Bansal in  Rajasthan Education Excellence Awards  2017 conducted by 94.3 MY FM.

Ø  JPS was felicitated by Akshay Patra & Ishkon for our school participation in Cultural Education Services (CES) to imbibe Indian Culture values for kids. The Principal received the trophy on 20.12.2017. 


Ø  Ms. Jayashree Pareek, Principal of Jankidevi Public School was invited by “University of Wales”, Trinity Saint Davit London for 7 days through Quality Education Asia to attend the “Leadership Programme”. She also attended “Bett-2017”, the biggest educational fair. 

Ø  An award of Citation to the Inspiring Educators was presented to Ms. Jayashree Pareek for her initiative and invaluable contribution in reinventing school for all round development of school students by Outdoor Education Research  team of Great Rockspot (Asia’s Largest School Adventure Programme)

Ø  Ms. Jayashree Pareek was honoured by Credent Shree Shikshak Ratna Award-2018 by Credent.

Ø  Ms. Jayashree Pareek was felicitated by Times of India and BYJUS.

Ø  Ms. Jayashree Pareek was selected as one of the 14 members of the Core Committee in “Jaipur Declaration” guidelines and checklist for making school safe for children in Rajasthan, a joint venture of Rajasthan Government and Save the Children. 

Ø  Mr. Pawan Sharma and Mr. Deepak Panicker received Best Teacher’s award by IIHMR on 8th September, 2018.

Ø  Ms. Sandhya Roy was awarded Credent Shikshak Ratna award by Credent.



The Board examination results of Class X brought us proud and we feel encouraged to give our best possible to our students.

1.    All India Secondary examination 2017-18, Gaurav Singh stood 1st with 95% Sakshi Kanwar stood 2nd with 93.2% and Pathik Sharma secured 3rd position with 93%.


2.         In All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2017-18 :-

            Science Stream:-

Ø  Yash Bansal stood 1st with 94%, Omanshu Mahavar stood 2nd with 92.8%, Akanksha Gutru stood 3rd with 90%.

            Commerce Stream:-

Ø  Yash Patel stood 1st with 89%, Lakshita Choudhary stood 2nd with 83.8%, Ishita Sharma stood 3rd with 83.4%.


Highest marks in


Ø  English Core was 93%

Ø  Mathematics was 97%

Ø  Physics and Chemistry was 95%

Ø  Biology was 96%

Ø  Economics and Informatics Practices  was 98%

Ø  Business Studies was 94%

Ø  Students appeared for NTSE and STSE Examination.

Ajay Singh Gaur cleared both the Levels of STSE Examination and got scholarship. 

Ø  329 Students from class II to XII enthusiastically participated in various Olympiads and exhibited outstanding performances

In level-one exam, a total of 16 school topper Gold medals, 10 school topper Silver medals and 10 school topper Bronze medals and 2 Gold medals of distinction were awarded.

In level-two exam, Rohan Gupta Class -VI proved his academic versatility and all round excellence winning 77th International Rank, 1st Zonal Rank and a cash prize of  Rs. 5000/- in International English Olympiad, 11th Zonal rank & a gift voucher of worth Rs. 1000 in National Cyber Olympiad, School topper rank-1, 6th Zonal rank & gift voucher of Rs. 1000 in National Science Olympiad.

Harsh Sharma of Class –VIII secured 17th Zonal rank in International General Knowledge Olympiad and 13th Zonal rank in National Cyber Olympiad.

Gaurika Singh of Class – X secured 75th National rank and won a gift hamper in Unified International English Olympiad.


In SpellBee International 2017-18 at State Lavel:-

Ø  Avni Gupta, Tanishq Shivanand, Rohan Gupta, Sarthak Awasthi and Shrishti Khandelwal were our top 10 rank holders. They all won a gift hamper. Rohan Gupta won a gift voucher of Rs. 2000/- from Reliance digital.

In SpellBee International 2017-18 at National Level:-

Ø  Rohan Gupta VII-A received 3rd rank at state level. Also got gift voucher of Rs. 2000 from Reliance digital.

Ø  Avni Gupta VI got 6th Rank at State level and received book hamper.

Ø  Sarthak Awasthi I-B, Tanishq Shivanand CP-VII won 8th Rank at state level and also received a book hamper.

In SpellBee International 2017-18 at International Level:-

Ø  Sarthak Awasthi of Grade II scored 98 marks out of 100 and Rohan Gupta of Grade VII scored 93 out of 100, becoming the top achievers.

Ø  In International Quiz Competition in Pearson school, JPS team stood 2nd. Rohan Gupta of VI B and Tanay Agarwal of CP-VIII got a cash voucher of Rs. 3500 from Flipkart.

Ø  A two day Mega Interschool fest, ‘Sanskriti 2017-18’ was organised among fun –n- fiesta in the beautiful campus of Jankidevi Public School on 23rd & 24th August, 2017. It was an incense by well-suited participation in plethora of competition in the field of academics, Sports and Cultural event. Sanskriti hosted more than 2163 students from esteemed 36 schools of Jaipur. The participants showered a rainbow of talent and true sportsmanship. JPS received 10 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.

Ø  Discovery School Super League Quiz in Maths and Science was conducted by BYJU’S in association with Rajasthan Patrika and Discovery Channel. The result was declared on 26th Aug, 2018. Meer Maharishi (IV), Pavi Jain(V), Aarna Sharma(VI), Vishant Karwani(VII), Rohan Meena(VIII) and Divyani Mathur(IX) showed excellent performance and received school bags as an award and one month subscription of BIJU’S free to all the participants.

Ø  Articles written by our Heritage Club students were selected for the INTACH magazine Japjot Singh Bhatia of our school was awarded twice for his articles and received certificate and prizes.

Ø  Our Nature Club students enthusiastically participated in Vanyajeev & Paryavaran activities conducted by Indian Center for Wildlife & Environment Studies in South Asia Region. Our students appeared for Green Olympiad (TERI).  In All India “Prayavaran Ratna Award” Examination-2017 certificate Category ‘A’ was awarded to Riddhima Sharma. In ‘Vanjeeva Ratna Award’ certificate ‘A’ was awarded to Akshat Singh, Nandini Dagar and Somesh Sharma. Certificate category ‘B’ was awarded to Pradyuman Sethi, Aniket Agre and Paxlika Kumawat. 

Ø  With a view of felicitating professional development , to keep the teachers abreast with the latest information with regard to their respective areas of work and to ensure effective learning environment, our teachers are being trained and are attending various workshops like


ØJunior run Seminar on the concept of ‘Healthy Mind, Healthy Body’ was organised  in our school assembly hall Mr. Siddhant explained the importance of exercise and getting a fit body. Marathan was held on 19th August. “Kriyansh Goyal” of Sr. Kg. bagged 2nd prize in Junior run Marathan. He also bagged 4th Prize for best costume. One hour Zumba class was also organised for students from grade IV onwards and the teachers as well by Ms. Shefali Jain.  

ØAanika Jain – VII, Tejaswani Goyal –VII, Suhani –VII, Chhavi Mathur-VII, Aavni Gupta-VII participated in Basketball Clusters Under-19 girls at B.L International School, along with the team of eminent schools.

Ø  6 girl students Aishwarya Singh XI, Navya Gupta X, Rakshita Singh XI Paridhi Verma XI, Sifty Sandhu XI, Simran Meena XI participated in football Under-17 State Level (Jaipur National Team) conducted by State Federation of Football (SFF) & were selected for National team tournament from 12th July & 15th July in Bharatpur. Two grils Aishwarya Singh X -A and Navya Gupta X-B are selected for National Level to be held in Cuttack .

Ø  2 boys Prithvi Nama of Class VII and Rudransh Kothotya VIII participated in Under-14 State Boys Championship 2018-19 in Kota organized by Rajasthan Football Association. Out of which Prithvi Nama of class VII has been selected for National Camp and Rudransh  is a standby for the same.

Ø  Bhavesh Vaishnav of class IGCSE -I participated in Ball badminton Under-14 at state level  conducted by State Federation Authority (SFA) and is selected for National Level which will be held in Manipur from 17th-24th October

Ø  Aahan Jain, Anjali Yadav, Abhilasha Keshawat, Yashika Rajawat and Somya Khandelwal. participated in 63rd National School Athletic Championship Tournament in 2017-18 at Rohtak, Hariyana conducted by School’s Games Federation of India (S.G.F.I) from 18th December to 22nd December 2017.

Ø  Ishan Choudhary CP-V participated in Basketball District Tournament-2018 in JBL SMS Stadium.

Ø  Pramey Shrimali of CP-IV (2017-18) won a Gold Medal in National Taekwando Championship held at New Delhi. Gold medal in Semi Junior Taekwando Championship held at Manali. Because of his wonderful performance. Pramey was awarded certificate of Merit and Cash prize of Rs. 5001/- by Maharana Mewar Foundation, Udaipur.

Ø  Roller Skating competition show was organised in Chitrakoot Stadium, Vaishali Nagar on 22nd & 23rd April, 2017 conducted by the ‘Fly on Wheels’ and traffic Police Jaipur. 8 students were given the certificates along with a trophy.

Ø  In Neerja Modi School:-

Girls doubles Under-19 participated in Carrom Board competition and won the 3rd position.

Sasmit Gautam (IX-A) won 2nd prize in carromboard boys Under-19.

JPS football team Under-19 girls won the 3rd position.

Ø  InBasketball, boys team secured 2nd position and girls secured 3rd position in PROTSAHAN Tournament in JECRC University.

Ø  On Sports Day:

Abhishek Lodhwal X was declared as Best Athletic Boy and Simran Rajawat VIII was declared as Best Athletic Girl in 2016.

Aahan Jain Class XII and Vivek Sharma VII were declared as Best Athletic Boy  and Aishwarya Rajawat X was declared as Best Athletic Girl in 2017.



Ø  Our students participated in D-fest State Interschool Championship conducted by Buskers on 29th August 2017 in 3 categories, folk dance, junior western dance and senior western dance. We received the 2nd runner trophy in folk dance out of more than 100 schools. Our winnings folk dance received the Public choice award on 14th Nov. 2017 in Poornima University. Pryansh Arora of class VIth A participated in Western Solo on 28th Aug. 2018 and won the Trophy for the second position.

Ø  Our students performed folk dance, western dance and display of Little Master’s Band at Albert Hall in the “School Carnival-2018” which highlights rich Indian culture, conducted by Rajasthan Archeology and Museum Department, Jaipur. The visitors and the tourist appreciated our programme and on their request, the dances were performed again with lot of applause.

Ø  Our students participated in the 2nd edition of ISRO Science Exhibition in JECRC University on 19th & 20th April, 2018 where our students learnt the working of scaled modules brought by ISRO and also interacted with senior scientists & received certificate of ISRO.

Ø  Rahul Choudhary (VII B) got 2nd Position and Samar Jain won the 3rd Position in Shrimad Bhagwad Gita Shloka competition organised by Chinmay Mission. 

Ø  Riddhima Gupta, Atharva Agawal and Angelina Kaur were declared 2nd in Fashion walk, best out of waste and Crème de la Crème on 11.7.2017 in Cambridge Court.

Ø  Our students participated in Kalaneri Art Gallery, an Academy of Fine Arts. Nancy Dhapola of Class V won II prize and Avni Gupta of VI received a surprised gift in Kids Carnival and painting competition.

Ø  Students of JPS bagged 1st in colouring 2nd position in fancy dress and 1st position in Tawa painting  in Pearson School and team of 8 students of JPS stood 2nd in Quiz competition. Rohan Gupta of VI B and Tanay Agarwal of  CP-VIII got a cash voucher of Rs. 3500 from flipkarts.     

Ø  Mahatma Gandhi Dental College celebrated Children’s Day on 09.11.2017. Our students secured 1st position in Fancy Dress Competition, Slogan Competition and Western Dress Competition. 2nd Position was secured in Art Competition, Essay Writing, Western Solo Dance, Science Model Making and Western Dance (Juniors).

Ø  Simran Rajawat of Class X and Paridhi Verma of Class X won 1st and 3rd Position in Poster Making Competition in ‘Run O Thon’ in collaboration with Kalaneri Art Gallery.  

Ø  Students from Class I-V participated in Athletic Meet (Sahodaya Fest) in Rukmani Birla School on 3rd February, 2018. Ashish Choudhary IV-A received Gold Medal in Hurdle Race Shourya Pratap Singh III-A and Gauransh Sival III-A received Bronze Medal each in 3 legged race.   

Ø   In Interschool Chess Tournament held on 2nd February, 2018 in MPS Jawahar Nagar, Yuvraj, Mohit secured 3rd Position and received Bronze Medals in Skating (Sahodaya Fest) at Kapil Gyanpeeth School.

Ø  Our students participated in Goloku Coloring competition conducted by Akshaypatra. Abhigyan Sharma II-B won 1st Position and received the Laptop , Mishi Gunawat IV won the 2nd Position and received a Smart Watch and Yashika Khandelwal won the 3rd Position and received the trophy. 

Ø  Certificate of merit were given to Rohan Gupta (VI) Chhavi Mathur (VI), Nancy Dhapola (IV) and Ojaswi (IV) in power point presentation in MPS, Pratap Nagar.


School Events:


Ø  A 3 days ‘Self Defence’ training session was organised in the school by Mr. Amardeep Soni the founder of Ninja Academy from 9th to 11th July, 2018. He taught the importance and techniques of Self Defence to 500 girl students from VI to XII. Lady teachers and lady support staff.

Ø  Several field trips were organised like Printing Press, Post Office, Mother Teresa Home.

Ø  “Swachta Week” was celebrated from 1st Sept. 2017 to 6th Sept. 2017. Where Swachta pledge was taken by school children along with teachers. Children participated in essay writing, painting or drawing on cleanliness and its importance in life. The students and teachers cleaned their campus, classrooms and cupboards.

Ø  A fire drill was organised when the children evacuated the school as the alarm rang. They witness how the water from hose pipe can extinguish the fire in the building. The school is well equipped with Fire fighting system in the basement which stimulates the water sprinklers to extinguish the fire. The officers demonstrated the working of fire extinguisher and trained the support staff & some children to become aware of the safety measures to be taken during break up of fire.

Ø  Students of Cambridge section explored the star gazing at Alwar Sariska . They had a beautiful experience of observing star celestial objects and constellation.

Ø  On 28th September, 2017 children of Jankidevi Public School became a part of a historical event when “Dada Saheb Phalke Folk Award” winner play YUGPURUSH “Mahatma Ke Mahatma” was staged in the grand auditorium of Jankidevi Public School. Yugpurush is basically a skit based on Shrimad Rajchandraji, a motivating force behind Mohandas Karamchand Gandhiji.

Ø  Yoga Day started with warm – up exercise. Various aasanasa were performed by students  a) Tadasana b) Vrikshasana c) shashankasana d) Paadhastana e)Halasana f) Meditation       g) Breathing exercise h) Pranayam . Students were told the benefits of various aasanas.

Ø  Tribute to Jankidevi Ji

31st January 2018 special assembly was organized in the Pre functional area to pay tribute to Jankidevi Ji, a visionary and grandmother of honorable chairman Mr. Narendra Kumar Verma. The assembly started with a small introduction of Jankidevi Ji. Four students of different religion presented prayers from their holy books. To pay a homage to Jankidevi Ji.

Ø  School Picnic

Children of Jankidevi Public School were overjoyed when they entered the rocky terrain amidst the greens of village at Rocksport Adventures – Squadron Based Comp, Jaipur.

for school picnic on 25-11-2017. The leaders were waiting for their arrival and as soon as the buses arrived at the camp the children were packed in neat files and were guided to a large garden where the fun started beneath the surface of discipline when their teams were given names like Chhota Bheem an Doremon with their own punch lines by their group leaders. They were briefed about the beginning of a day which was all adventure with fun. Even the teachers were snapped to attention and were made to do all the adventures which they never thought they were able to do like Net climbing, rope walking, coming down from a mountain sliding through a rope and rolling in a huge dragon ball. It was adventure with fun, nervous laugh with energy unlimited. Children seem to enjoy every moment marching like soldiers. Children learned adventure skills and they could channalize their energy in constructive manner.


Community Service:-

Ø  As a socially aware institution have set high standard for our staff, students and parents.  This concern is to be appreciated as it shall instill in them towards the cause of children and people in distress and the value of empathy.  Students of JPS donated Rs. 31000/- in 2017 and Rs.47445, in 2018 towards the care and protection of children in distress to the ‘Child Line India Foundation’.

Ø  Cambridge students visited Kathputhli Nagar and presented a Nukkad Natak on “Neat and Clean Environment and Health and Hygiene.”

Ø  Kerala tragedy unites each countryman as a human society and donations to uplift the condition of Kerala.  Jankidevi Public School Family too stood strong to support the noble cause.  The school students and staff collected more than 800 kg of grocery items that consisted of pulses, rice, wheat flour, spices, tea, coffee, milk, powder, sugar, clothes & sanitary napkins and donated through GOONJ, NGO, Delhi. A cheque of Rs.18,900/- was donated to the Prime Minister’s Kerala Relief Fund.

ØOur students visited Nahargarh Zoological Park and performed a Skit conveying the message to take care of our mother earth. Students planted trees there.




Ø  JPS celebrated 71st Independence Day on 15th August, 2017 and 69th Republic Day on 26th Jan with zest & valour. The ground of Jankidevi Public School vibrated with the colour of patriotism, unity, peace and harmony.

Basant Panchmi Award Ceremony in Auditorium was held on 22nd January, 2018. It was

celebrated in a traditional manner, Annual Report was read by Principal and the children were

given away the prizes for Academic Excellence and Special prizes.

Ø  Every year the school celebrates the Grand Parent day in honor to appreciate the role of our grand parent in the life of their grand children. Their presence undoubtedly fills our life with joys memories and precious teachings.

Ø  Investiture Ceremony was held on 04.12.2017. It is a ceremony where the new council of leaders is formed in the school. The handing and taking over ceremony of the present leaders to the future leaders was organized. The new leaders took oath to carry out all the duties and responsibilities allotted to them with honesty and sincerity. Abhishek Lodhwal and Anushka Garg were elected as the heads of the council.
